My name is Morgan Richman. I am high school student in Pennsylvania. At my school I'm involved in a club
called Hatters Included. Hatters Included is a club that tries to connect kids with mental and physical disabilities
with other kids in high school.
I created this project with hopes to make the community more knowledgable about kids with disabilities. Throughout
my life, I never really learned about the disabilities until biology and health in the high school. And even then, I
only learned about the scientific beliefs and ideas about the disabililites. It wasn't until I got to know the kids,
that I understood the emotional aspect. But I believe there is no other way to understand this aspect until one meets
these kids because they have a great story to tell.
